What We Do:
-
The Band Boosters organize and coordinate various fundraising efforts throughout the year to supplement the District-approved fees for activities and further support the Band program financially. “Support the Band” nights at local establishments, our annual “Fill Your Freezer” event, and various other fund-raising endeavors all help provide the experience, resources, and quality instruction needed for our students to be successful.
-
The Band Booster organization relies heavily on volunteers who give of their time and effort to assist with various band-related activities. These volunteers are involved in a wide range of tasks, including event coordination, chaperoning during competitions, uniforms, props, “Pit Crew,” and more.
-
Volunteers play a key role in maintaining and fitting the band uniforms, ensuring that each student looks great when they take the field. The uniform crew is active primarily prior to the competition season with sittings and alterations, but also on performance days throughout the fall.
-
The Food Crew plays a critical role in our student’s success during many events and activities, especially competition days throughout the fall. The Food Crew coordinates meals and snacks to keep our students energized and ready to perform.
-
The Pit Crew plays a critical role on performance days, as they are actively involved in moving equipment to the various warm-up locations as well as on and off the field during the actual performance. Our Pit Crew volunteers work seamlessly with students and Band staff to ensure the proper set up and functioning of the front ensemble instruments and sound system.
